On December 6, 2018, the Turnaround Management Association’s (TMA) Ohio Chapter presented Nancy Terrill with its Lifetime Achievement Award. Through this annual award, TMA Ohio recognizes one of its members for their significant achievements in and contributions to the turnaround industry.

Mark Kozel, TMA Ohio’s President, stated in his comments that Nancy has been engaged in the turnaround/restructuring industry for nearly four decades with experience ranging from a large regional bank and a $3 billion troubled loan portfolio to a career in the transaction advisory practice of a large accounting firm, to a Managing Director at Inglewood. He also noted that Nancy has built a nationally-recognized expert witness practice.

When receiving the award, Nancy shared several similarities between turnaround work and that of her father, who was a fireman. She stated that turnaround professionals put out fires, just like her father did. And, while her father preserved lives and property, turnaround professionals preserve livelihoods and preserve or maximize the value of businesses.
