Cheryl L. Noviski

Cheryl Noviski’s professional career spans nearly 40 years, the most recent 25+ in private schools and higher education institutions. Prior to joining Inglewood, she served as Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer for two colleges and a private high school. Her areas of oversight included all aspects of financial operations, risk management, insurance, human resources, facilities, security, information technology and transportation. Cheryl has:

  • Extensive experience with budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, capital campaigns and presentations to boards and committees, including budget and finance, investment, facilities, audit and advancement.
  • Accounted for endowments up to $50 million.
  • Managed numerous federal and state grants, including many layers of pandemic relief.
  • Managed capital projects including an academic health resource and simulation center and a fitness center.
  • Led numerous bond negotiations and two refinancing projects.
  • Facilitated years of financial, retirement and benefit plan audits, Form 990 tax returns and the financial portions of accreditor assessments and focused visits, including Higher Learning Commission.

Cheryl was a member of Ohio Association of College and University Business Officers and holds a credential in Cash Management from National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. She has been actively engaged in a variety of roles outside the finance office, including areas of diversity and inclusion, in the schools that she has served.

Cheryl is an active CPA and is a Member of the Ohio Society of CPAs.

Her service to the community includes Treasurer of the Boards of both Hershey Montessori School and Stonebrook Montessori, Board Member of Rotary Club of Mentor and spiritual care volunteer for Hospice of the Western Reserve.

Her passion for education and service recently led Cheryl to obtain her Master of Arts in Theological and Pastoral Studies from Ursuline College.  Cheryl also has a BBA in Accounting from Kent State University.
