Veteran Cleveland CFO Brian S. Kenyon Joins Inglewood
Inglewood welcomes veteran Cleveland CFO Brian S. Kenyon, the finance leader behind the $100M Gravitas sale and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's turnaround.
Cleveland, OH — January 15, 2025. Inglewood is pleased to welcome Brian S. Kenyon, a veteran Cleveland CFO with more than 30 years of executive experience across licensing, manufacturing, professional services, large-scale tax-exempt organizations, and education. Brian has worked inside both publicly traded and privately held organizations, and he is best known for transforming enterprises with financial strategies that deliver measurable results.
A Cleveland CFO with a Record of Transformation
Brian most recently served as CFO of Gravitas Ventures during a period of rapid growth and played a key leadership role in the company's $100M sale to Anthem Sports and Entertainment Group. For his contributions there, Crain's Cleveland Business recognized him as a Notable in Finance in 2022.
In 2017, Brian joined the executive team at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History as Chief Financial and Operating Officer, where he overhauled the Museum's financial processes and negotiated a significant legal settlement, all while managing a $252M asset base.
Before that, Brian spent 18 years at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, first as VP of Finance and Administration and, from 2009, as EVP and CFO. During his tenure, revenue grew from $16.6M to $39M as he managed $50M in capital improvements, oversaw a $35M museum redesign, and executed bond financings that raised $30M. He also launched an enterprise turnaround that cut operating expenses by 20 percent, the same discipline that anchors Inglewood's turnaround consulting practice. Crain's Cleveland Business named him CFO of the Year in 2009.
Earlier in his career, Brian held a range of financial roles at International Total Services, Signature Brands, and NACCO Industries, and served as a Senior Associate Auditor at PwC. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Akron and is a CPA (inactive).
