James R. Myers

Jim Myers previously led Inglewood’s Transaction Services business and now leads Hanna Commercial’s Business Advisory division providing Buy and Sell-Side engagements and other related services under a cross-serving agreement with Inglewood.  Jim has over twenty years of experience in the financial services, real estate and logistics industries. He has extensive lending experience with small private to F500 companies and is well versed in asset-based, real estate, aircraft, tax exempt, and maquiladora lending and equipment leasing.

Jim started a business investing in distressed commercial and industrial real estate, eventually acquiring over 600,000sf of space.  He has had full responsibility for all phases of due diligence (environmental, valuation, tenant, physical condition, title work, surveys and insurance), financing, accounting, construction, tenant work and document negotiation.

Jim has extensive experience as a receiver and has handled virtually all property types including apartments, warehouses, retail properties and condominium developments.   Jim has extensive experience with property management, including all key areas of maintenance and repair.

Jim was a minority investor in a regional truckload carrier, where he provided on-going analysis and management support.

Previously, Jim was at National City Bank and then GE Capital specializing in various types of term financing to private and public businesses. Earlier in his career, as an examiner with the Federal Reserve, Jim had extensive experience in valuation, internal control analyses and loan reviews for lenders to real estate developers.

Jim has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and a BSBA degree from the University of Akron.
