Nancy Terrill Honored with TMA Ohio Lifetime Achievement Award

On December 6, 2018, the Turnaround Management Association's (TMA) Ohio Chapter presented Nancy Terrill with its Lifetime Achievement Award. Each year, TMA Ohio uses this award to recognize a member for significant achievements in and contributions to the turnaround industry, and in 2018 that recognition went to one of Inglewood's own.

Nearly Four Decades in Turnaround and Restructuring

In his remarks, TMA Ohio President Mark Kozel noted that Nancy has worked in the turnaround and restructuring industry for nearly four decades. Her experience runs from a large regional bank and a $3 billion troubled loan portfolio, to the transaction advisory practice of a large accounting firm, to her role as a senior partner at Inglewood. Kozel also pointed to the nationally recognized expert witness practice she has built over that career.

Putting Out Fires

Accepting the award, Nancy drew a parallel between turnaround work and the work of her father, a fireman. Turnaround professionals put out fires, she said, much as her father did. And where her father preserved lives and property, turnaround professionals preserve livelihoods and preserve or maximize the value of businesses.
