Advisory Board

CTP

Nancy Terrill, CTP has spent more than four decades at the point where lenders, borrowers, and the courts collide. On Inglewood's Advisory Board, she brings a rare depth in banking standards, lender liability, and turnaround restructuring — the kind of judgment earned by running the hard side of the business, not reading about it.

For years, Nancy has supported a nationally recognized expert witness practice focused on banking standards, testifying to how commercial lenders should — and should not — behave. Her expertise spans lender liability, commercial banking standards, fraud, M&A due diligence, and turnaround restructuring, giving clients and counsel a single voice who understands both the loan document and the operating reality underneath it.

She built that authority in the trenches. As National Manager of the Special Assets Division at KeyBank NA, Nancy oversaw 120 employees and a $3 billion problem-loan portfolio — the workouts, restructurings, and recoveries that decide whether a distressed company survives or not. Few advisors have managed troubled credit at that scale, and fewer still can translate it into clear, defensible analysis when a deal or a dispute is on the line.

Nancy is a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) and a Past President of the Ohio Turnaround Management Association, where she was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her contribution to the restructuring profession. She holds an MBA in Finance from Cleveland State University.

At Inglewood, Nancy is exactly the kind of advisor the firm was built on — a banking and turnaround professional first, not a lifetime consultant. When the stakes are a lender relationship, a contested workout, or a company that needs to be righted, she is the expert you want at the table.

Core Disciplines

Where Nancy goes deep

  1. Lender Liability & Banking Standards

The discipline of establishing how commercial lenders should conduct themselves — loan origination, workout, collateral, and enforcement — measured against accepted banking standards. As practiced at Inglewood by Nancy Terrill, it draws on decades inside institutional lending to assess whether a bank acted within the standard of care, and to articulate that judgment credibly for clients, counsel, and the courts in lender liability matters.

  2. Expert Witness — Banking & Commercial Credit

Independent, testifying analysis of commercial banking conduct in litigation and disputes. Nancy Terrill supports a nationally recognized expert witness practice focused on banking standards, translating complex loan relationships, credit decisions, and workout conduct into clear, defensible opinions. At Inglewood, this work pairs technical command of banking practice with the operating perspective of someone who has actually managed distressed portfolios at scale.

  3. Turnaround & Restructuring

The stabilization and recovery of financially distressed companies and credits. A Certified Turnaround Professional and past president of the Ohio TMA, Nancy Terrill approaches restructuring from the lender's side of the table — the workouts, forbearances, and recoveries that determine outcomes. At Inglewood, that means restructuring plans grounded in what banks will actually accept and what a business can realistically execute.

  4. Special Assets & Problem-Loan Management

The management of troubled and non-performing credit — the special-assets function inside a bank. Nancy Terrill led this at national scale as National Manager of KeyBank's Special Assets Division, directing 120 employees across a $3 billion problem-loan portfolio. At Inglewood, that firsthand command of workout economics helps borrowers and their advisors anticipate lender behavior and negotiate from a position of real understanding.

  5. M&A Due Diligence

Rigorous pre-transaction review of a target's financial, credit, and lending exposures. Drawing on decades in commercial banking and special assets, Nancy Terrill brings a credit-trained eye to diligence at Inglewood — surfacing the loan, collateral, and covenant risks that can quietly erode a deal, and giving buyers and sellers a clear read on what they are actually acquiring.

  6. Fraud & Financial Investigation

The examination of financial conduct where fraud, misrepresentation, or breach is alleged. Nancy Terrill's expertise spans fraud within the banking and credit context, informed by decades of managing distressed and irregular loan situations. At Inglewood, she brings investigative discipline and banking fluency to matters where the facts of a lending relationship must be reconstructed and understood.
