Nancy Terrill Featured in Crain's on Falling Commercial Bankruptcy Filings

Inglewood senior partner Nancy Terrill contributed to a Crain's Cleveland Business report on the drop in commercial bankruptcy filings.

Inglewood senior partner Nancy Terrill contributed to a Crain's Cleveland Business article titled "FINANCE: Bankruptcy filings down, which means much less related work," which appeared in the print and online editions on July 28, 2013. The piece examined how the decline in commercial bankruptcy filings was reshaping the workload of the firms that support distressed businesses.

The Crain's report gathered commentary from several legal and advisory firms on how they were adjusting to the slowdown in commercial bankruptcy filings between March 2012 and March 2013.

Terrill told Crain's she did not expect commercial bankruptcies to fall much further, but she was not anticipating an increase either. She also pointed to Inglewood's focus on applying the firm's turnaround and distressed-company experience to help organizations optimize their value, whether or not a filing is involved.
